Personal Trainer Overview

I take an educational approach to fitness and wellness. I teach you the how and why of what we are doing as you progress. The more you know the more we can accomplish! With dedication to three areas (physical activity, clean eating and stress management) we can make great positive lifestyle changes that will stick with you forever.

Training Philosophy

Keep it simple. Complicated programs and methodologies do not achieve better results. Results come from repeated and dedicated effort, and that is why keeping the program and workouts simple is important. Simple allows us to get maximal results while allowing more time and effort for other things. But simple does not mean necessarily mean the workouts are easy. I will challenge you and push you every session.

Using a combination of physical activity, clean eating and stress management I help you build healthy and productive habits that will stay with you for life. I will help you be both physically AND mentally strong.

Bio

My name is Wyatt Scott and I am an exercise professional in the Denver area. My journey in fitness started when I was young playing sports through school. But it became much more serious when I decided to major in Exercise Science at JMU. Over the course of my major I was lucky enough to spend both my internships with Virginia Tech Sports Medicine Department doing rehab with their athletes. I also completed a Coaching Education Minor, which focuses on helping bring about mental changes to help achieve success on and off the field. For my minor also had to complete an internship where I helped coach a high school team for a season, we made it into the playoffs but got knocked out in the first round.

After school I moved to Denver to pursue a career in fitness. I have decided to keeping going further down this path and I have started a 10-month program toward completing a certification in Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT), which is a method to help increase the function of every muscle in the body. I graduate from the program in June and cannot wait to keeping learning after that.

I train out of the brand new Rocky Mountain Flex Fitness facility in Denver, CO. Come on by and let's get started!
