Personal Trainer Overview
IM=X® Reformer Bed Pilates adds resistance and cardio training so that you can receive all of the benefits in one program. The IM=X sequences are more fatigue oriented and the "choreography" focuses on addressing the strength of muscle synergies through innovative program options: Stretch, Cardio, Abs, Upper Body, Lower Body, Interval Training, Pre/Postnatal, Golf/Tennis, etc. Additionally - IM=X® has other unique programs that are unrelated to pilates such as IM=X® Yoga, Bar, Cycle/Tower, Jog Board and Spinal Xercize.
Training Philosophy
Vicki Cross has spent the last 22 years helping people meet their conditioning goals. Her experience spans personal training, fitness counseling, yoga Pilates-mat and reformer bed. She is equally comfortable with people new to exercise, high performing scholastic athletes, the older adult and people rehabilitating from injuries. After studying modern dance at Penn State University, Vicki instructed dance and dance aerobics before moving onto personal training, Pilates, and yoga. Inspired by Rosa Mota and Greta Waitz, Vicki began her running career, eventually becoming a competitive marathoner in the early 80’s. She participated in numerous marathons and the Corporate Cup Invitational Finals in 84 and 85, while she coached aspiring high school athletes. Along the way, she ski raced competitively and currently holds a Professional Ski Instructors of America Level 1 certification. Her clientele spans all age-brackets and ability levels. She works hard to ensure that sessions remain fresh and challenging even for long-time returning clients. Vicki helps her clients make conditioning a regular, engaging, and fun part of their daily lives.
