Personal Trainer Overview
I race dirt bikes and my will to win drove me to start off the bike training. I fell in love with the process. I started racing in 2012 and could barely make a lap. Once my skill improved, I needed to be stronger so I started off the bike training. I got a lot faster and started to race on the national level. Over the last year, I felt like my calling was to learn more about training and help others meet the fitness, health, and riding/racing goals.
Training Philosophy
As an athlete multiple training methods are necessary, such as, weight training, endurance, cardio (HIIT, running, cycling, rowing, etc.), agility, yoga. I am in firm believer that utilizing multiple cross training methods will make you fitter. Another important key factor is, you can't outwork a bad diet. I learned this first hand. Since I got serious with my training, I have lost 30lbs and maintained it. Yoga is important to help keep the muscles loose and aid with soreness. I keep it fun but deliver results. I help motivate my clients by also putting in the WORK. If they see me suffering through it on the days I don't feel like it, it shows them they can do the same exact thing. It is all mental. Getting started is the hardest part, everything else is easy. My driving force is I want to show others they can do anything, if they WORK HARD! What motivates me is the feeling after a hard training session, the feeling of winning, inspiring others, and the places the mind goes when I am working my tail off. You do not have to be a dirt biker to train with me. Anyone that wants to live a healthier life, I want to help!
