Training Philosophy
Sometimes fitness training can get boring so I make a specific effort to make sure that doesn't happen by cross training methods.
I also offer simple nutrition and health advice that is easy to follow to go along with their training programs.
Also by reminding my clients constantly about their short term and long term goals, through a personal phone call or chat about 1-2 times a week, I help them stay on track and keep their personal motivation of why their attending my gym or requesting my services.

These clients are real people who have demanding jobs, families and a limited amount of time to commit to a fitness program, yet he delivers results and drives his clients to be the best they can be.
Stefan and his partner Thomas Engberts successfully opened Maxfit Performance in 2009, a small fitness company focusing on real results and better performance. Maxfit Performance (nicknamed “Maxfit” now has two locations, one in Nichada and one in Sukhumvit Soi 31.
While Thomas Engberts heads the Nichada Maxfit center, Stefan along with his wife Marie Cortejos have carved out their niche in Sukhumvit Soi 31. Stefan and Marie are now working with over 100 clients who are focused and motivated to reach their personal fitness potential.
What makes Stefan unique as a fitness trainer is that he was an overweight teenager and continues to battle with overweight tendencies to this day. When he coaches you, he is sharing of his own personal success and experience and is not shy about calling himself a “former fatty.”
At the age of eighteen he decided that he had to make some changes in his lifestyle. After trying out several diet fads and running for hours on the treadmill he was introduced to weight training. With the help and advice from a professional body builder friend he began his own body transformation journey. His efforts paid off, and within a couple of years he achieved his goal, dropped to single digit body fat percent, and won 3rd place in an amateur body building competition in the Netherlands.
After a few years of fitness study and creating his own style of fitness training and weight loss methods, he quit his job as a successful electrician in Den Haag to devote his time to his passion, which is to help others achieve their health and fitness goals too.
