Personal Trainer Overview

Many people, myself included, have struggled with issues related to self-confidence and poor body image. I realize this struggle is a life-long journey. Training with me is an invitation for all people, wherever they are in this journey, to travel together toward our individual goals and true inner happiness. We can achieve this through exercise, education, consistency, supporting one another, and having fun.

Training Philosophy

My training philosophy is very realistic and personal to each person I work with. The first session is free. During this session I sit down with a person and listen to what they would like to accomplish and the issues they feel they have. Then I let the person know what I have to offer. If the person decides to move forward I then set up a session where I get them moving. I spend time looking at posture and which muscles need strengthing and which muscles need stretching to acheive balance in the joints. I assess things like balance, muscular endurance, cardio endurance, & flexibitly to name a few. Moving on from here really depends on what I see during this session and what goals the client wants to acheive. My sessions are $25 per hour.

Bio

I am a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. I have been working in the fitness industry for 17 years. It all started when I realized I needed a way to be motivated to exercise so I got my first job teaching an "aerobics" class. My heart goes out to people who are afraid to step into a gym or exercise class because I know how it feels. My gift is creating an atmosphere that includes exercise where everyone feels welcome.
