Training Philosophy
Optimal wellness comes from the inside out, and “looking” lean and fit is one of the great side effects! Creating work/life balance can be a challenge, however, with the right program it can be obtainable even for the busiest professional. Through this balance, one can reduce stress, increase energy, feel and look amazing, and ultimately improve ones quality of life!

Bio
I am passionate about preventative wellness and how creating a balanced and healthy lifestyle boosts confidence, enhances vitality, and contributes to the reduction of chronic disease. I founded my business in Hawaii, which was my home for 10 years, and have been fortunate enough to reestablished it here DC. Over the last decade I’ve spent thousands of hours designing and implementing a broad range of individualized, group exercise, and nutritional programs.
My style of training incorporates Pilates as a foundation to building core stabilization, balance, posture, and mobility; then progressing it with other functional exercises that continuously challenge strength, endurance, control, and coordination. Proper conditioning and technique is critical to me in both my personalized programs and classes. I won’t ever push past a client’s abilities, however there is a structured and continuous progression. You will always leave feeling like you got a unique and challenging workout! Nutrition and health coaching is also a huge part of the equation, and it is offered for every individualized program.
When people ask what type of workout will enable the best results, I tell them the key is variety. My own workouts include Pilates, Yoga, dance, aerial acrobatics, interval training, and running. It never gets boring and I make sure my clients feel the same way. The key is creating a routine that is also fun for you…something that you will look forward to and truly make you happy!
