Personal Trainer Overview

Being strong is better than being weak.

Training Philosophy

My programs are designed to build base strength through use of medicine balls, sandbags, resistance bands, body weight, sprinting, jumping and barbell training. Sports and martial arts drills are also integrated into many of my programs to develop coordination and agility. The degree to which each implement or mode of training is utilized is determined by the needs of each individual client. My goal as a trainer is to increase each clients total body strength and, thereby, their ability to move through daily tasks or athletic events more effectively.

This methodology is most effective in enhancing performance in sports but is also effective in weight management and fat loss.

Bio

I've spent the majority of my professional career as a teacher. The desire to educate children and adults is the same motivation I have to educate people about exercise and strength training. One of my goals is to increase my clients knowledge of general program design so that they may one day develop their own workouts.

I am currently a Judoka, Jujutsuka and perform every movement I program.
