Personal Trainer Overview

I design custom programs based off my client's goals with long term sustainability in mind.

Training Philosophy

Visible results come from invisible thoughts. Our mind is a very powerful thing, therefore I believe in combining mental fitness with physical fitness. Just like the individual specialized workouts, mental fitness can vary from person to person. Some people benefit from the addition of Yoga, while others find solace in reading or tapping into their creativity. My school of thought is based off of the idea that it's important to find ways to give not only the body but also the mind and soul all it is yearning for. The key is to learn to work WITH the body instead of fighting against it.

Bio

Sara is an alum of the National Personal Training Institute of Costa Mesa, and a certified personal trainer through National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

From a very early age she lived to dance: “To dance was to breathe. The only issue was my body. It never quite fit the mold. I also watched my mother struggle with her weight and I struggled beside her.”

It wasn’t until she become a mother herself that Sara discovered her passion for fitness. At 5’3″ she had gained over 40 pounds with her first child, and a year later found herself still carrying half of the pregnancy weight. She knew she needed to workout, but didn’t have the time to invest in a gym with a new baby and full time job. So she got creative and started working out in her living room. Getting started was tough, but eventually she felt herself getting stronger, happier, and with revived energy and better sleep.

After the birth of her second child, she decided to pursue her passion of becoming a personal trainer. “I now have the privilege of helping others live longer, happier more fulfilling lives by teaching them how to move and care for their bodies. And for that I am extremely grateful!”
