• NASM
• CR
• but I have studied and implemented many others. Including ACE
• ACSM
• Poliquin group
• and Paul Check/ Check Institute. I also appreciate and integrate massage therapy
• muscle activation techniques
• activated isolated stretching
• and myofascial release. Many certifications are available and provide their on perks but inturn restrict other views that may provide better results. You will find out that any specific certification doesn't equal qualification. The key is the ability to recognize problems and implement the most efficient and safe solution with an exercise program.

Personal Trainer Overview

I enjoy helping others achieve their goals no matter what they are. I have had a unique background that has allowed me to travel across the world for athletics and work with some of the best athletes and coaches. Currently I work in home with clients and at the Mercola clinic. I train Dr. Mercola, his faculty and in turn it has helped expose me to many different training styles as well as a vast amount of information in alternative health and wellness. I have been lucky to get to work with the people I have and if your committed to my program I'm confident that I can help you lose body fat, tone up, increase stamina, decrease back pain, increase flexibility, recover from a recent injury, or just create a higher quality of life.

In my assessment, we will go through a basic workout while I learn more about you and your fitness goals. This will also be your opportunity to learn more about me as a trainer.

Training Philosophy

I believe in building a strong foundation first. With the thousands of exercises available anyone could keep you busy and most likely very sore after. My approach is simple and safe and will last the longest even if you are willing to put in the work. Safety is my main concern and results will follow right behind. The human body is an amazing machine and with a little guidance the right program can change anyone's life.

Bio

I've played almost every sport competitively in school but only track and field at the world level and inducted for two Hall of Fame's. After graduating I worked at lifetime fitness and Xsport. I left to the large gym atmosphere because I was sick of how pushy and disrespectful they would treat people just to maintain a quota. At the time I left I was assistant manager and had close to 10,000 a month income for the gym. I branched out on my own and for the next few years I was the main recommendation for The Center for Partnership at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in downtown Chicago. Shortly after the entire management restructure at CPNMH I started working at the Mercola clinic and that is where I am employed at now.
