Personal Trainer Overview
Outside of the gym, I try to lead by example by living an active lifestyle. One of my hobbies is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and competing. I've competed in a good handful of competitions and have medaled in most.
We all have our own personal goals. Whether yours is to lose weight, better your health, get fit, or simply achieve that stubborn six-pack I can help you get there. My dream is to be able to share my passion for fitness with others out there and be able to make a difference in people's lives. Honestly, when my clients come to me and tell me things like they haven't weighed this much since they were a kid or when another tells me they no longer need to take their medication that they have been relying on for the past 10+ years it reminds me that I really am making a difference in people's lives.
Training Philosophy
I'm not your typical trainer that will sit you on a machine and tell you to do 10 reps. Instead, I believe in functional training and educating my clients so that they understand what and why they are doing each exercise as well as how to prevent injuries. Proper form is always key and I don't believe in ever sacrificing form for reps or weights. I genuinely care about the people I work with and believe in treating them like friends. I am always a phone call or text away and, believe me when I say, expect to hear from me outside of our training sessions. Checking in from time to time is very important in helping you attain your goals.
Education
Bootcamp instruction, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Bio
Established in 2010 I started with a hobby and it soon turned into a career. Not just any career but a dream career. Soon after that I realized that through personal training I not only helped people get fit, but I was also genuinely changing people's lives. Since our physical wellness directly relates to our mental health and overall happiness we must do our best to attain, as well as maintain, new physical thresholds. Honestly, when my clients come to me and tell me things like they haven't weighed this much since they were a kid or when another tells me they no longer need to take their medication that they have been relying on for the past 10+ years it reminds me that I really am making a difference in people's daily lives.
