Personal Trainer Overview
As a Coach I have experienced success and failure both physically and mentally. I know how to motivate a client from Athlete to Couch Potato. I relate to those who struggle with weight and depression issues. I lost over 100 pounds, I lost my High Blood Pressure, I lost my Diabetes, I lost my High Cholesterol, and I gained my life and self respect back by leaving my Nuclear Engineering Field and becoming a Full-Time Fitness Professional who truly enjoys helping others to succeed! I help myself by helping you! All you have to do is take the next step and say Hello!
Training Philosophy
I Truly understand that Fitness and Nutrition go hand and hand. I also understand that there is a right way and a wrong way to train. But I believe it is better to do something than nothing. Lets get started today! Lets get moving and attending activities until that habit is developed and we will improve the weak areas as we go. Functional Movement Patterns, Nutrition, will follow after the habits of working out are developed. Lets have fun and work hard so we can play hard and be their for our loved ones for a good long time.

Bio
As a young man I was heavy and wanted to join football, I started to run. I made the team then found out I liked wrestling, also tried basketball, and I ran up to 8 miles at a shot just to keep my weight down. I joined the NAVY SUBMARINE FORCE, where I became a Naval Nuclear Electronics Technician and qualified the senior most watches achievable. I hurt my back and became a disabled veteran gaining hundreds of pounds, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, painful gout, and my liver was starting to fail. I was on a path that looked like it was coming to an end. I lost everything my health, my family, my respect, I had a choice to die, or to take a chance of trying to get healthy through the pain. I thought I would rather die trying than just give up and I walked my first 100 feet and had to sit down on the side of the road with my feet and knees swelling and throbbing in pain. 3 hours later I made it 300 feet, 6 months later I was walking miles a day and had lost over 60 pounds. My blood pressure was down, so was my cholesterol, and blood sugars. In the next year I knew if I was to live a long and healthy life I had to break the cycle of what my father, uncle, grandfather and great grandfather had done and that was to be very large men who died way to young. My uncle was only 52 when he passed away. I became a personal trainer to be my first client, then I started to help others and became involved with some of the largest hospital fitness and wellness centers in NJ. It was a great experience where I worked with people who were out of Rehab to soon and Cardiac Patients who needed assistance and follow up fitness protocols. I worked with Athletes who had bad attitudes and some of the sweetest women in the world who made up for it. The whiners, complainers, and just plain fitness challenged. I learned that every individual has their own path to find their success and their own goals they have to achieve. Every person needs a program catered to their needs. Every person needs accountability even myself. I find excitement in Training the Trainers and the average individual. I constantly challenge myself with new certifications that are worthwhile and will help my clients and myself. Over a dozen certifications later I have found I am still on fire to help others and that is my calling in life. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than to congratulate someone for a great achievement, for reaching their goals, for earning their next FitRanX Fitness Rank Level Bracelet. I just love the look on their face when they realize they did it, they can do it, and they are ready to take on that next challenge. So heres hoping you have that first look real soon. Coach Bob
