Personal Trainer Overview

IT'S ALL ABOUT YOU. While providing you with challenging and fun workouts that are individually tailored to produce the highest level of functional fitness in a timely manner; minimizing falls and work related pain, as well as increases in energy, confidence and stress reduction are realized. I am pleased and prepared to make your goals of fat loss, strength and muscle gain a reality.

I am highly attentive, creative and aware of when a client can safely increase intensity and know when to change exercises to effect results and avoid boredom.

The real gift with working will clients is witnessing the increased confidence, that comes with strength and mobility gains.

Training Philosophy

Education of correct form and proper execution of exercise, utilizing specific and varying ranges of motion and appropriate tension on working muscles yield quality and timely results.

What would I require from a trainer if I was the client? A question I often ask myself . This question has instilled in me a creativeness and desire to

create exercise routines that are interesting and always varied.

My training incorporates the use of functional training to create a more functional you, aerobic activity to improve cardiovascular health, time under tension and progressive resistance to build muscle, proper execution of exercise to prevent injury and achieve results in a timely fashion; sports specific training using proven exercises to heighten althletism, mixed martial drills for self defense and a combination of all of the above to make a more functionally fit you.

National Federational Professional Traininer Certified since 2003, 25 years training people, Westchester Community College for Certification in Substance Abuse Counseling.

Bio

My background in fitness was born in dissatisfaction with myself . Poor health and low self esteem propelled me down the path I follow to date, a path that started with studying nutritional treatment modalities for illness, and building muscle in all age groups.

With a background in tree work my experience working outdoors doing very demanding physical work, combined with my education in fitness has taught me how to move and lift efficiently and safety. My high level of functionality has influenced my training and morphed into the belief that functional training does effect rapid results in increased mobility, strength, fat loss and improved balance.

I love to work with people and watch them overcome weakness and become stronger, healthier and confident.
