Bio
I found my love of the gym at age 10 when my parents got a membership to the Vandalia Recreation Center. I started working there at 15 first as a lifeguard and later as a fitness desk attendant. At 15 I also started Powerlifting and a local legend 9 time World Champion Larry Pacifico noticed me a meet and invited me to attend his gym. Larry taught me proper lifting technique, nutrition, and encouraged my passion for lifting. I knew at this early age that I wanted to work in fitness and I was fortunate to able to learn from the ISSA National Personal Trainer of the Year. At 19 I became Mr. Pacifico's assistant trainer working with high school and college students.
I continued as a trainer while getting my BS in Education in Exercise Science and then completed an internship with Good Samaritan Sports Medicine's - Athletic Performance Program.
After college, I was fortunate to get hired by former NFL player Tramain Hall owner of Enhance U Sports Performance Academy. I provide sports performance training to professional, college, and high school/grade school athletes. I also provide personal training to anyone with a desire to improve their health and fitness.
I have competed in football, wrestling, track and field, and powerlifting. After being a 2 time Ohio State Powerlifting Champion, I decided to focus on that sport. I am a former NASA Teen National Champion. In 2014, I earned my Pro Card and am now Nationally ranked by Powerlifting Watch in in the men's open division at 198 lbs.
