Training Philosophy
My competitive background in Olympic Weightlifting and Bodybuilding has given me a great understanding of the limits of the human body. My education has taught me the balance of specification verses diversity. The decades in the health profession has given me the knowledge of how to make exercise, recreation, and functional movement a life-long enjoyable experience. To preach requires practice, meaning if I haven't tried it you won't do it.

BS in Exercise Science with emphasis on physical stress testing, exercise prescription, EKG monitoring, nutrition, and body mechanics
CSCS - NSCA with emphasis on sport specific training through specialized technique and neuromuscular patterning.
CPT - CSUSwith emphasis on strength, speed, agility conditioning, fitness evaluation, first aid, CPR, and AED.
EIM - ACSM emphasis on the integration of Fitness and the Medical Field. Exercise is Medicine.
