Personal Trainer Overview
Training Philosophy
Here is what I KNOW to be true about our constant struggle to be the healthiest version of ourselves: We suffer more than ever from chronic fatigue and stress, are more sedentary than ever, busier than ever, sleeping less, and are completely reliant on automation to do many of the daily tasks that we used to do ourselves. Our society as a whole is deconditioned, and unable to perform in our daily lives with ease.
I believe in creating a balance in your life, beginning now, with movement and exercise. I work with the body as a whole, utilizing NASM Corrective Exercise techniques to build a solid foundation through integrated work out programs. My programs not only alleviate aches and pains to prevent and heal injury, but also teach the body to move in the most efficient manner. This will enable you to change your body composition and create the strongest, sleekest, most sculpted version of you.
This is the beginning of shaping your new life.

All right, now that you’ve read my "official" bio, here's more about who I am today and how I got here . . .
Before I began my career as a Personal Trainer I was forty pounds heavier, hopelessly sugar addicted, disapproving of my own figure, and in complete disconnect with my body. I KNEW I loved working out; what I didn’t know was the science behind it and what it takes to make permanent positive change.
As an actress and trainer, I constantly felt the pressure to look better. I was what I like to call a "Cardio Queen", putting in long hours on the machines and continuing to believe that if I worked a little bit harder, the person I saw in the mirror would be good enough. I became so preoccupied with "results", that I had no way of reading the signs my body was giving me. I was like 90% of gym-goers I see everyday: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Sound familiar? This is the definition of insanity!
It wasn’t until I became an educated trainer that I began to let go of those thoughts and see the benefits of smart, balanced, exercise routines. I studied the body and how it worked as a Personal Trainer and through the eyes of a holistic practitioner. I started asking questions about the real obstacles that keep us from getting the body we want. I was astonished by the countless factors that cause us to put ourselves last: sleep deprivation, overwork, feeling unfilled, body image, and lacking a honest desire to take care of our bodies.
I found that my body changed when I committed to building a relationship with myself that is not based on discipline or calorie counting. Instead, it's based on understanding, forgiveness and commitment to being the best version of myself. Although I will forever be on a journey that is filled with potential for more growth in countless areas, today I feel like I finally know the person I see in the mirror.
I love witnessing change within my clients, and sharing what I know to be true about health and fitness. I am so enthusiastic, so ready, and so willing to inspire change for you. I will help you shape your body and life through movement and exercise.
