My aim is to be a guide for individuals to find their strengths and relinquish their weaknesses.

Training Philosophy

Training at FitBody: Our approach is whole-body training from the "inside out", starting with balance and coordination exercises. This philosophy emphasizes training the weakest links first to develop symmetry, muscle control and develop the foundation to increase strength. Adaptation in gaining more muscle power and endurance is developed with increasing intensity (i.e. frequency, duration, resistance, etc) approximately 10% per week, along with cross-training to ensure safe and effective whole-body development. This aligns with a "crawl, walk, run" philosophy and prepares a trainee for fully engaged body awareness, as wells as more powerful work, such as plyometrics, negatives (eccentric contraction), and "forced" repetitions.

Education

Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of California, Davis, Certified Personal Trainer via the American Council of Exercise, Registered Massage Therapist, and Certified Neuromuscular Therapist
