Bio
I have always been a very active person. Starting dance classes at the age of 3 continuing on into childhood, as well as playing sports including swim team, water polo, soccer, basketball, track, and tennis. I graduated the American Musical and Dramatic Academy with an AA Degree in Musical Theater and Dance Performance in New York City. At the age of 21 I broke three vertebra in my lower Thoracic spine. After surgery and some healing time I began physical therapy through Pilates, and with my own determination continuing to exercise through strength and flexibility training. One would not even know that I have had such an extensive spinal injury. I have continued to enjoy and active lifestyle that includes many different fitness modalities including surfing, running and hiking. After becoming a mother I understand the importance of "wanting to get your body back" and the need for everyday health and wellness. I understand the physical, mental, and emotional struggles that go along with accomplishing your personal fitness goals.
