Success begins in the mind, which is why I train the "whole person." I believe we are all unique and there is no one size fits all plan. I believe in meeting clients where they are and helping them move forward one step at a time. LIFESTYLE CHANGE is what I teach. I teach people how to lose fat and live the fat loss lifestyle by balancing hormones, NOT counting calories and doing hours of cardio. If you work with me, you will learn how to balance hunger, energy, and cravings through sleep, stress management, nutrition, and efficient exercise.

Lisa has two advanced degrees including a M.S. in Health Promotion and Education and a M.A. Education. Lisa is a certified health and wellness coach and personal trainer and a member of IDEA Health and Fitness Association, the world’s largest association for health and fitness professionals. In addition, Lisa is also a former figure competitor.

Lisa has 16 years of professional experience including: personal training, wellness coaching, corporate wellness, public health, sales and marketing, and education. Lisa’s passion is guiding individuals closer to a life of health and wellness; she strives to help others to achieve not just their fitness and wellness goals, but ultimately to help them live the life they want. Lisa spends a significant amount of time on continuing education including: conferences, webinars, online education programs, reading professional journals, and researching the latest science and best practices in her field.

As a health and wellness professional, Lisa offers a broad base of knowledge in fitness, nutrition, wellness, lifestyle modification, and the psychology of behavior change. Lisa implements a holistic approach to fitness and wellness that accounts for individuals’ unique lifestyles, preferences, and goals. She is highly skilled at meeting clients where they are, adapting to different personalities, understanding clients’ wants and needs, and developing positive long term relationships.

In addition to Lisa’s knowledge and interpersonal skills, she has a strong understanding of common health conditions such as high blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, obesity, and metabolic syndrome; and she frequently works with clients who are trying to prevent or reverse these conditions. Lisa has worked with clients from ages 18 – 75, and she has experience with all fitness levels and abilities. Lisa regularly works with individuals who have physical limitations related to knees, shoulders, back, arthritis, and heart conditions.

Lisa’s approach is unique in that she focuses on the whole person regardless of their goals. She understands that there are a variety lifestyle factors that impact one’s health. Lisa believes that exercise, nutrition, stress, sleep, environment, social support, mindset, and individual biochemistry all influence one’s ability to reach their optimal level of wellness; therefore, she takes all of these into consideration when working with clients. Lisa educates her clients on how all of these factors are inter-related and can have a strong impact on whether or not clients achieve results, regardless if their goal is weight loss, increased muscle, improved fitness, increased energy or general improvement in health status.
