Personal Trainer Overview
Typically, when one thinks of ‘getting in shape’ most people instantly associate that process with an expensive gym membership, uncomfortable feelings, and long-term expensive contracts. This is where we differ. We teach our clients how to do effective workouts, designed for individual needs and that you can do in the comfort and convenience of your own home. We offer in-home and mobile fitness training in the Denver Metro area. Together, we can help you reach your goals in a way that works best for you. We offer our knowledge, experience and no fail approach to your success to help you get results, guaranteed.
Training Philosophy
As a fitness professional, I believe that fitness instruction is more than counting repetitions and creating challenging workouts. As a trainer, my goal is to teach you how to make the right daily decisions to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I believe that every person has different needs, and therefore requires a different fitness and nutrition program to obtain their personal goals. It is a fact that those who are not educated about fitness will never truly achieve fitness.
Education
I am certified with the highly recommended National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and I am a graduate of the National Personal Training Institute, where I finished at the top of my class and also won the Award for Academic Achievement. At the Institute I also became certified as a Nutrition Consultant. I studied and worked with many special populations, such as pre- and post- pregnancy, elderly population, injury re-habilitation and body building as well as classic elements such as weight loss, mass gaining, strength conditioning and periodization for specific athletic performance, to name a few
Bio
Over the past 6 years I have helped many different types of people in achieving their fitness goals, such as clients who have recently had children, those who just need to do a bit of toning and clients new to fitness training all together. I have trained many special population clients with issues such as Cystic Fibrosis, Multiple Sclerosis, sciatica, paralysis, chronic pain, arthritis, muscle/skeletal imbalances, severe obesity and a number of other body/eating issues. What I have learned from all of this is that no two people are the same, and no two exercise programs should be either. I would love the opportunity to work with you!
