Personal Trainer Overview
Over 12 years of experience! Specialties: Weight loss/toning, Strength Training, One on one, small group, buddy training, & outdoor "bootcamps" (although I am not military, don't blow whistles, don't wear fatigues, & do not yell at you). My clients continue to work with me because I am their friend & motivate with a light-hearted attitude & positive sense of humor. I also love to train kids, and let them join classes for free if their parents participate!
Training Philosophy
I take exercise seriously so you don't have to. I want to make it fun because- let's face it- sometimes exercise Sucks! I've felt the pain in my chest & the aching muscle the next day. I have felt the morning drag where I don't want to work out. But I know the benefits of exercise & how it affects your life, your heart, your muscles, and your mind. I remind myself how much better I feel afterward. I studied Exercise Science in college (lots of anatomy, physiology, metabolism, nutrition), so I know how the body works. I like to educate my clients while we are working so they know WHY they are doing a certain exercise & where they should be feeling it etc. I want everyone to love Exercise as much as I do. We should all reap the rewards of exercise. Because everyone deserves to feel good!
