Personal Trainer Overview
Training Philosophy
Super Fit is battling a crisis in our American society today. We sit in our cars, we sit at work, we sit at home and many times with our bodies full of stress. We are doing nothing to counteract our stressful and sedentary lifestyles. Thousands of Americans die each day as a result of this type of lifestyle.
One hundred years ago, cardiovascular disease was virtually unheard of. Why? Because we hauled water, chopped wood and many times ran for our lives. We were able to purge the stress from our bodies which kept us strong and healthy.
Flexible Training Hours
Our clients love us because of our flexible training hours. We have up to ten training sessions per day. Each training session is the same for that day, so if you can't make a morning class you can come to an evening class and not miss your workout. Sign-ups are not necessary and there are no cancellation fees.
Our basic mode of training is what we call "Cardiovascular Strength Training." An example of a typical class is as follows: First, our trainers will personally guide you through 15 minutes of core-stability training using a large variety of techniques and exercises. Next, we guide you through 30 minutes of full-body strength training working you from head to toe (some people describe it as circuit training on steroids). Basically, it's three to six exercises performed seamlessly coupled with cardiovascular rest intervals. In the last 10 to 15 minutes we work strictly on full-body flexibility and many times with hands-on stretching from one of our trainers. The end result is 100% satisfaction and everything needed to get you in the best shape of your life!
Our primary goal with this type of training is to over-engineer your body so you become stronger, healthier and more energetic - with weight-loss being one of many positive side effects. We have designed and organized our workout facility and program so we can train multiple clients at once whom have different fitness levels and orthopedic needs in a seamless and highly effective manner.
Our 3,000 square foot facility is stock full of state-of-the-art equipment: treadmills, ellipticals, spinners and electric bikes, stair climbers and step mills. Our strength equipment consists of dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells, cable machines, swiss balls, benches, safety racks...you name it, we have it!
The use of multiple trainers and a large variety of equipment is what sets us apart from other trainers and workout facilities. During each class we can have a 58 year-old-woman that has never worked out alongside a 19-year-old man training for college football.
The bottom line is that Super Fit WORKS! We have been in business for 8 years and we are only getting better.
Super Fit was developed: 1). To replicate the hard physical labor our ancestors had to do to survive; 2). To reverse the negative effects of our twenty-first century living and poor life-style choices; 3). To make it affordable so each client can receive the long-term support and guidance from a personal trainer that is so essential to their success; 4). To create a sense of camaraderie and accountability amongst their peers and done so in a safe, fun and enthusiastic environment.
