Personal Trainer Overview
Every session I have with a client is thoughtfully prepared in advance and designed for him/her as an individual. Workouts are filled with variation, (free weights, balls, calisthenics, etc), and a level of challenge that keeps pace with the client's steadily improving fitness level. A focus is maintained on total-body fitness which combines muscular strength, cardio endurance, flexibility, effective breathing, nutritious eating and a deep appreciation for the mind-body connection.

Training Philosophy
Fitness training is more than a job to me; it is something I chose to do because I believe that it is truly essential for improving the quality of our lives. I am passionate about assisting my clients to comfortably incorporate a lifestyle of healthy eating and rejuvenating exercise into their often busy lives. I firmly believe that the energy we each invest in the health of our physical self is returned exponentially in our productivity, creativity and the enhancement of our emotional well-being.

Certified as a Fitness Trainer by ISSA (International Sports Science Association).
Certified Health Coach by ACE (American Council on Exercise)
Completed Certificate Programs for: Nutrition, Body Weight training and Senior Fitness.
Possess extensive knowledge through experience and coursework in the areas of: strength training and conditioning, calisthenics, nutrition, injury prevention & recovery, stability ball training, motivational strategies, stretching and breath work.

Bio
I’m a health and fitness expert with over 40 years of experience. I started as a dedicated young athlete which led to my unyielding commitment to remain healthy and fit as an adult despite working in the corporate sector for16 years and raising three daughters. Along the way, I began re-evaluating my professional path and decided to redirect it towards my lifelong passion for encouraging and showing others how to remain healthy and fit in the face of their often hectic schedules. Twelve years ago, I decided it was time to shift my informal health coaching to a focused career. I got my first certification as a private fitness trainer with ISSA and continue dedicating my education and career to helping people achieve whole-body health and fitness.
