Personal Trainer Overview
I am focused on holistic health and understand that the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual components of one's self must maintain balance and synergy. I integrate aspects of nutrition, fitness and lifestyle to achieve a complete life solution. Losing weight and training hard will eventually fail if other areas of your life are suffering. I subscribe to Hippocrates statement, "Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food." Eating whole unprocessed foods will bring you a life of health, vibrance, and energy. Bottom line - you will never "find" time for anything. If you want time you must create it. Move your body every day ... beyond its comfort level. Make it a habit. The pain of discipline is far less than the pain of regret! No excuses!
Training Philosophy
The ultimate goal is to create positive and long-term changes in client's lives. I believe that proper nutrition and exercise is the one prescription we can all give ourselves. The body is a miraculous work of art; yet is rooted in science. Using concepts of biomechanics, I incorporate functional training and corrective exercise along with a plant-based whole foods diet. Not only do I want them to aesthetically look better, I want them to feel stronger and move better without aches and pains. Just like an athlete, I incorporate metabolic conditioning, high intensity intervals and circuits, and multi-planar moves. Utilizing total body movements and not isolating muscles, is like multi-tasking during a workout, and equals double the effort in half the time. Workouts need to be effective, efficient, and provide results.
