Personal Trainer Overview
My training style is functional fitness. I teach people how to use there body in the gym with the idea that it will translate into real world, every day life situations. For example squatting down to pick up a box of canned goods or kneeling and lunging in the garden to pick some weeds. With my training I hope to provide people with a stronger more mobile body that allows them to move and do things with less pain and ease.
Training Philosophy
I believe in weight training and functional fitness allowing the body to move in a way we have moved for thousands of years. Our ancestors used to hunt and gather and used their body as a machine to live long healthy lives. Fitness goes beyond the gym so fueling your body with the right nutrients, getting quality sleep, hydrating and mobilizing your joints are a few key things that are going to take you to the next level. The more we can move our body and recover properly the longer we can live and enjoy things in life. I motivate clients by helping them learn and understand the "why" behind the movement or exercise. I am always creating an environment of learning and growing both physically and mentally. Every day I hope that my client takes home something to implement later on in life when they need to recall it again.

Bio
Hey there, I am Kirsten Humble. I am 26 years old and have been dedicated to the fitness industry for almost 10 years. My story began in 2015 right as I graduated high school. I found my nearest local gym and became a member. It was history from there. I more recently found Crossfit which led me to olympic lifting and I am now a passionate lifter in the sport. I have been competing in the sport for the last 2 years. I have a love for doing things that my body allows me to do and I will continue down this path for as long as my body lets me.
