Personal Trainer Overview
I will develop a program based solely off of you and your goals, and what equipment you have available to you. With my programming, you also receive nutritional guidance designed with your body type, metabolism and personal preferences in mind.
Training Philosophy
When I design my programs I take into account what equipment the person has available to them, which gym they go (a YMCA or a Planet Fitness for example) and what their goals are over the next year. I feel that taking care of the client is the most important thing when it comes to training. I make my clients feel like they have someone to confide in outside of their daily life, and someone they can rely on. My goal is to keep people looking up and ahead while they work hard to achieve better. What motivates me is seeing my clients ecstatic with the results that they earn through perseverance.
Education
I currently hold a certification as a Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) I also hold a Fitness Nutrition Specialist certification through them as well. I am currently a Sophomore in college pursuing a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Exercise Science. I specialize in body building for beginner to intermediate clients and weight loss and conditioning. In addition to this, I have trained several people with lifelong shoulder injuries that have made significant steps towards regaining their strength, as well as various hip injuries. These individuals placed their trust in me, and have surpassed their initial goals to regaining mobility, strength and flexibility in the injured areas.
Bio
I always used to be the skinny kid when I was growing up. At 17, I started working out using just my bodyweight and whatever was around me (tree limbs, monkey bars, etc) When I turned 18, I joined the military and continued transforming myself using a combination of bodyweight techniques I had learned and going to your standard box gym. I spent some time in Japan, where most of my free time was dedicated to the gym and traveling. After getting out of the service, I decided to pursue a life training other people and pushing them to reach their physical goals the same way that two of my biggest mentors in life had done for me. I was inspired and became determined to instill that same sense of worth and inspiration in other people. No matter who you are, you have to have a support system to get where you want to go. I pride myself on being that support system for a variety of people.
