Personal Trainer Overview

Hi! I'm Kelsey, a former professional dancer-turned-fitness trainer in the Orlando area. I specialize in goal-specific training, meaning I work with you to find what your goals are and the best way to help you achieve it. Whether you're looking for weight loss, athletic training, strength training, injury rehab, or just looking for someone to push you a little harder in the gym, I'm your gal. I will challenge you to push your limits, but encourage and support you as well so you feel successful.

My husband and I own Empowered Fitness Orlando, a training studio in the Winter Park area. It's our playground of fun toys including barbells, kettlebells, bands, sleds, and more to keep workouts interesting and challenging. Hope to work with you soon!

Training Philosophy

My training philosophy is twofold-- I believe in:

1) Challenging but successful! I want you to feel challenged and pushed, but ultimately successful in gaining strength and confidence.

and

2) Teaching you not only how to do an exercise, but WHY you do it. Knowing why you do what you do in the gym is important in educating yourself so you can be more independent and knowledgeable in the future. #empowered

In addition to interesting workouts, I also coach nutrition with the flexible dieting/macronutrient approach. I can provide a detailed macronutrient breakdown specific to your body and goals so you can learn how to get the physique you want while still eating the foods you enjoy. I'm in the best shape physically 3 years AFTER I ended my professional dance career because I now know how to fuel my body properly without restrictions.

Personally, I love HIIT circuits (because who wants to be on the treadmill for 45 minutes at a time), lifting heavy weights, and yoga!
