Bio
I joined the United States Air Force about a month after I graduated high school. I spent 10 years serving this great country as a fighter aircraft mechanic on the F-15E Strike Eagle.
While in the military I started working on race cars as a mechanic and over the wall pit crew member, for a NASCAR team based on the west coast. My next assignment brought me to North Carolina where I had a lot more opportunities to work in racing. I left the military in 2007 and started working full time on a NASCAR Nationwide Series team shortly after that. I spent a few years in the Nationwide Series, starting as a mechanic and pit crew member, and eventually working my way up to a Crew Chief position. Being an over the wall pit crew member, fitness was paramount. While in racing my passion for fitness really started to grow.
After suffering a back injury, I was forced to take myself out of the racing industry. While rehabilitating my back, I realized how good it felt working hard to get myself back to where I was before the back injury. I have always loved helping people, and having a love for fitness, it was a natural fit for me to become a personal trainer. I have lived all sides of this, I know what it feels like to be overweight, and how it feels to see your pants size dropping. I also know how it feels to be fit now. I can identify with what each and every one of you are going through at all stages of your journey.
In May 2010 I earned my personal trainer certification from the American Council on Exercise.
I have been helping people of all walks of life get fit and healthy for almost 3 years now. I have absolutely loved every second of it. Watching the results we achieve bring so much joy and happiness to everyone makes this by far the most rewarding thing I have ever done. I have learned so much and am so lucky to get to do this "job" everyday!
