Personal Trainer Overview
True Body Fitness aims to better your physical well-being in a comfortable atmosphere whether it is in a gym, outdors, or in your home. Kathleen focuses on personal and small group training programs that include weight loss, cardio fitness, core training, muscle development as well as balance and flexibility.
Training Philosophy
At True Body Fitness, you will find that Kathleen truly cares about your health. She continually updates her knowledge of a variety of health issues that concern her clients. She understands that the majority of women looking for a personal trainer are not looking to become bodybuilders or supermodels - they simply want to enhance their quality of life. Kathleen strives to motivate her clients with a positive attitude and a sense of humor. She is dedicated to the needs and goals of each client and believes in providing varied exercise sessions so each client's progress meets their goals. Workout programs change based upon the client's physical, mental and emotional state for any particular session.
Education
I did an internship with FirstLight Fitness for group fitness instruction.
I strive to take at least one new certification a year, plus many continuing education classes which include strength training for women and youth sports.
Bio
Having been an educator for several years, it was a natural transition to take my training as a teacher and apply it to my love of fitness and healthful living.
I like the energy of my small-group training classes (bootcamp style), but I also enjoy the one-to-one contact of personal training.
I my spare time, I love spending time with my family, running 5k's, and attending yoga classes.
