Personal Trainer Overview
I try to lead by example. Throughout my life I have always been guided by an inner passion. Since 1996 I have been dedicated to weightlifting.
Training Philosophy
Through my participation in sports---football, power lifting and track and field, I discovered the importance of weights in conditioning and performance. Five years of college football gave me the opportunity to develop my leadership skills as the team captain for three of those years. I dedicated myself to inspiring and guiding my team mates to be in the best shape possible and when I graduated bodybuilding became my next athletic challenge.
With the guidance of my brother-in-law, Trevor Sajdak, in 2006 I competed and won overall in the Novice Division at the Olympus (Buffalo, NY). Shortly thereafter I competed in the Spring and Fall of 2007 in Open Middle Weight Divisions and won 1st place in both competitions. Finally, in 2008 I earned my pro card taking the overall at the CanAm (Buffalo, NY).
Education
I began personal training in 2006 and instantly knew it was my calling. I quickly built a strong reputation not only as a one-on-one trainer, but also as a preparation coach and mentor. My strongest conviction is that I set the example of what I am guiding others by – dedication, determination, and commitment to always improve oneself. Through my thorough knowledge in training and nutrition, I have been able to assist many people in achieving their personal goals –working with both competitors and non-competitors. By educating, I give clients the building blocks for success and means of a healthier lifestyle that actually works.
