I first became a personal trainer in the early 80's and have seen fitness fads come and go. Nothing works better for long term physical improvement than using NASM Integrated OPT progressive training method. This includes flexibility training, cardio training, core training, balance training, reactive training, resistance training and some cases, speed , agility and quickness training.This avoids injuries while my clients continue to progress to meet there fitness goals. Training Philosophy
Integrated Optimum Performance Progressive Training as taught by NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) has 3 levels of progressive training, Stabilization, Strength and Power, along with flexibility training, cardio training, core training, balance training, reactive training, resistance training and some cases, speed , agility and quickness training. I like to use various types of equipment to train with. Dumbbells, TRX, kettlebells, heavy bags (for kick boxing) bands and more so I can change the training routines to keep the body challenged and fun.
