She also urges the exercise industry to set aside "one-size-fits-all" regimens and perpetual program sales at the expense of genuine progress for those it serves, and recognize that training the body for fitness comes through acknowledging and working with each person's entire self as well enhancing their own skills and selves. With over 20 years in the fitness industry, Joanne is a veteran fitness professional. She is a long standing member and certified professional of the American Council o Exercise, including holding the highly esteemed certification of ACE Advanced Health and Fitness Specialist. In addition to certifications and specialities in Women, Youth, Senior populations, Joanne is certified in TRX, ViPR, Stabililty, Agility and More. She is a Precision Nutrition certified Lean Eating Coach

Joanne is one of the leading fitness experts in Austin, TX specializing in whole body integration regimens. She is considered one of the toughest, yet most down-to-earth trainers in Central Texas. Joanne is a nationally certified fitness trainer with over 20 years in the industry. She also presents certification programs on a variety of current industry methodologies and maintains an active training clientele at her gym, Spirit Fitness Training. When not training, you might spot Joanne trail running, teaching Kindercise or volunteering in the school lunch room. A wife and mother of three, her passion for fitness fuels her energy for life.

Joanne is a published author and regular expert contributor to variety of national media outlets and the founder of the Spirit Fitness Pro Academy which provides accredited education and career training for fitness and wellness professionals.
