Personal Trainer Overview
In my personal training practice and fitness experience it became very clear to me that most older adults had no idea what they should be doing to maintain a level of physical fitness.
Subsequently, I developed a fitness program for
older adults that provided them the basic fitness knowledge and exercise skills needed to live a physically active healthy lifestyle.
Training Philosophy
The Fitness 60 plus program is a fusion of Eastern and Western exercise practices, including Chi Kung, and is based on exercise recommendations of the American Senior Fitness Association, the American Council on Exercise, the Mayo Clinic, and the work of
Dr. Stuart McGill, a professor of spine bio-
mechanics at the University of Waterloo (Waterloo, Ontario).

BA and MS degrees from Indiana University

Following a successful corporate business career, Jim obtained a Personal Trainer certification and began a personal training
practice exclusively focused on providing
physical fitness knowledge and skills to
older adults, those 60 plus.
