Personal Trainer Overview

Jess Botte is the founder and head coach of JBeWell Fitness Solutions. It is the company mission to educate and guide people down a path to lasting change. JBWell offers an array of services for three types of clientele: Personal Fitness, Nutrition & Health Coaching, Corporate Wellness Programming and Business Consulting for Personal Trainers and Coaches of all kinds.

Jess is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Behavior Change Specialist as well as a Precision Nutrition Coach. She is currently working with clients individually and in small groups in Manhattan.

Private/Small Group training, Lifestyle Coaching and Online programs cater to female clients, though men are accepted to the JBeWell Fitness Program. Jessica is particularly passionate about empowering women to be both physically and mentally strong. The core values of this coaching system focus on performance and action steps rather than appearance or the dreaded number on the scale. It is vastly different from any other program in that respect. JBeWell’s Corporate Wellness Initiative creates a shift in workplace culture by providing seminar style workshops, transformation challenges and customizable content based on the company’s needs. Lastly, JBeWell for Business works in conjunction with the Lift the Bar platform to help fellow fitness professionals reach their maximum potential. Business development is a skill Jess honed as Fitness Manager at a luxury Health Club and while working as a Construction Project Manager for several years.

Training Philosophy

Consistent Small wins equal BIG RESULTS. No get fit quick gimmicks, real solutions.

Education

My degree is in Applied Mathematics and Statistics with a minor in Engineering and Women's Studies Focus. I call it my Problem Solving Degree & I'm certainly a solution driven, analytical thinker.

Bio

Let me tell you, I am no athlete ... I'm a fitness enthusiast, former client and regular person. That's what makes me the perfect person for this mission.

My passion stems from overcoming my own personal battle with yo-yo dieting and emotional eating. I figured out a way to chose wellness while balancing a typical, hectic New Yorker's schedule. I'm living proof that it can be done and I want to share that with you. I came home from college with the all to familiar "Freshman 15", which in reality was the "Four Year 50". At five feet tall I weighed in at 180lbs. I was over weight, but moreover I was unhappy. I was starting off my adult life on the wrong foot and I knew it. At the time I wasn't a personal trainer. My first job was in your typical office setting. I commuted into the city from the south shore of Staten Island and sat at a desk all day long. I decided I needed to change. I hired a personal trainer. I lost every pound I packed on in college with straight up hard work. I can't say that I loved every moment in the gym, but I loved the results. I spent the next four years working my 9-5 and keeping the weight off. In fact, I just kept getting more fit. In 2011 I decided to become a Fitness Professional and do for others what my trainer did for me.

If I can do it, then so can you.

My training philosophy is simple - gradual changes over time. It's not a sexy Get Fit Quick, Abs in 28 Days type of program, but what I do WORKS.

Over the course of my training career, I've found that success comes with a shift in mindset before all else. Secondly, one needs a systematic approach to setting goals that help develop the healthy habits necessary to make a lifestyle change and the support to keep choosing heath.

So now, it's time to get motivated and take action. You've thought about this for long enough. I don't want to hear you don't have time.... I don't want to hear excuses.... ask yourself these questions:

• Are you ready to change?

• Are you willing to change?

• Are you confident you can change?

Welll .... are you?
