Personal Trainer Overview
Training Philosophy
The Taoist Yin and Yang principles as applied to the body are also a vital component of Jenny’s training and knowledge. To summarize this ancient philosophy within the application of movement and exercise, the muscles are Yang, while bones and connective tissues are Yin. Yang tissues are exercised with rhythm, repetition and weight while connective tissues and bone should be exercised with long periods of stasis stretching. A balanced Yin & Yang practice is what allows a person grow stronger, feel healthier, and look younger with each passing year. Creating optimal health and energy to help you feel your best every day.
Exercise alone is not enough to achieve training goals- in fact it is only one piece of the puzzle. Another major component is a diet specifically designed to achieve your desired body weight and fitness goals. Jenny has studied various diets and the biochemistry of nutrition. She uses this knowledge to help her clients to turn on muscle growth and lose extra body fat. Her diet plans have changed many of her client’s lives by helping them get results fast.
Jenny’s training philosophy is based on both Eastern and Western fitness and diet techniques. She blends together Western techniques, including weight & kettle bell training, calisthenics, Pilates, TRX / suspension training with ancient Eastern practices, including Yoga (Hatha, Vinyasa, Iyangar), Tai Chi, Chi Gong and Kung Fu.
