Personal Trainer Overview

At Indianapolis Fitness and Sports Training, we are world-renowned for our approach to training. We blend all forms of exercise to get our clients the lean, athletic and strong look they desire. Training Philosophy

Our focus is on building the client from a holistic perspective. All components of fitness are addressed in our programs, from flexibility and mobility, to strength training, to proper energy system training.

One of the things we are most well known for is corrective exercise. Many clients walk in our doors because they don't move well, or have little aches, pains and boo-boos that are holding them back.

When you combine our comprehensive assessment with an individualized fitness program, we can ensure that you get the best training program possible.

Bio

He initially came to IFAST as a client with 8+ years of debilitating foot pain and a laundry list of other minor injuries. After working with the IFAST team for a number of months, Jae was so impressed by the IFAST crew that he quit his desk job in Bloomington, and moved to Indianapolis to become an intern.

Jae graduated from Indiana University with degrees in philosophy and French, after spending the first two years there as a music major. The son of two professors, he has spent most of his adult life teaching or coaching in some capacity. He has taught violin lessons as a teenager; later, he served in the Peace Corps as an English teacher. He has earned a black belt from the US Hapkido Federation and taught for a number of years in the IU T’ai Chi Ch’uan club. Prior to coaching at IFAST, Jae also ran an informal bootcamp out of his tiny garage in Bloomington for a year and a half.

Jae especially enjoys working with general population clients of all ages, whether their goal is to lose fat, gain muscle, look sexier — or just look, feel, and move better as they get older.
