Personal Trainer Overview
I work with people of all sizes and ages. I start with a fitness assessment. Based on the finding we set goals and set up a plan on how to reach that goal.
Training Philosophy
Motivation, education, guidance, encouragement, knowledge are key traits I use to keep my clients focused on the task at hand and the goal that was set. My training focuses heavily on core and functional conditioning and I use tools such as resistance bands (gotta do some resistance training) half foam rollers, medicine ball, stability ball, Pilates ring, and sliders depending where we are. I provide both half hour and hour sessions; and I'll be with you all the way.
Education
I am a Certified Personal Trainer with ACSM, NSCA, AFAA, NFPT, NESTA, TACTIX Instructor, a Senior Fitness Specialist, and Post-rehabilitation and Medical Exercise Specialist through the American Academy of Health, Fitness and Rehabilitation Professionals
Bio
I've been a Personal Trainer for 15 years. during that time, I've had the honor and opportunity to meet and work with a lot of people with different needs from those who want to lose weight, reduce body fat to those who just want overall fitness. In 2006, I decided to get more involved in the healthcare industry so I got certified as a Medical Exercise Specialist and I got to, work work with people who have special needs (knees, hips, shoulders, back, spine, and ankle problems; those with diabetes and high blood pressure) As my education states, I got my certifications from some of the most sought after organizations in the industry and I deal with all aspects of fitness and health. This is not a job; IT IS MY CAREER and I love what I do! And I want to help as many people as I can to live a healthier lifestyle.
