Personal Trainer Overview

Over the past 17 years as a personal trainer I have earned the widespread national attention of fellow fitness professionals and clients. I am a frequent lecturer on the subjects of functional anatomy, core training, injury prevention and motivation.

Training Philosophy

My experience in training and motivating a diverse client population, includes celebrities, teenagers, collegiate athletes, weekend warriors, pre/post natal fitness and fat loss individuals. At the elite Reebok Sports Club/NY I was the lead Master Personal Trainer whose responsibilities included teaching and training the trainers. On the varsity collegiate level I was a member of the Track & Field and Rugby teams. Lastly, I have been published in “Cross Training for Dummies”, “Money Magazine” and “Women Fitness”. On television I have appeared on “The View”, “New York One” and “20/20”.

I take a systemic and holistic approach to human performance. I strive to give people the tools one needs to perform better, prevent injury and increase the functional level of activities in everyday life. I specifically look for the most effective, efficient and exciting program for every client. Depending on his/her background, goals and safety concerns I can implement one, several or a hybrid of smart personal training protocols: Core Training; Stabilization/Balance Training; Post-Rehabilitation; Hypertrophy-Specific; Neuromuscular Flexibility; Absolute and Relative Strength Training; Pre/post Natal Fitness, and/or Sports-Specific Training.

I don't accept the "no pain, no gain" dogma. Intelligent training should take you out of you comfort zone without being unpleasant. Be smart with your time and training- no brain, no gain!
