Training Philosophy
It's no secret - fitness training has been proven to prevent disease, strengthen your health and improve your confidence and outlook on life. As a certified fitness trainer, I'm deeply trained in everything from muscle mechanics to flexibility and cardiovascular dynamics. So if you want to live a stronger and more confident life, I've got the training and the expertise to help you every step of the way.
Education
As a student athlete I studied physical education, nutrition, strength and conditioning, and Kinesiology at Lincoln Memorial University (Harragate, TN) and at the University of Tennessee (Knoxville, TN ) 1997. I believe my background has been an integral part of establishing my effective training style which allows my clients to learn my knowledge of fitness and training. I have personal trained students,staff and alumni for 2 years at both Universities and 1 year at World Gym. I have trained numerous local youth/adult athletic teams. I have also attended numerous weight loss and strength and conditioning workshops. I have been helping clients who have struggled with weight loss and nutrition meet their goals while specializing in helping my clients accomplish their goals of muscle toning. I have been helping clients lose weight, build muscle, and balance their diets for my entire personal training career and I have loved every minute of it because this is my passion. Bio
I have been personal training for 5 years. Helping people effectively achieve their fitness goals whether one-on-one, group fitness or outdoor training. Aside from my own fitness in my spare time I enjoy spending time with my 3 sons and daughter playing golf, bikram yoga, running 5-10k races and cooking.
