Bio
As an athlete, I reached All-American status twice in the sport of wrestling propelling me to accept a full athletic/academic scholarship to Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania, a perennially nationally ranked NCAA Division I program. Engaging as passionate unifying coach, I am sustained by discipline, mindfulness, and selflessness toward performance optimization and excellence for all in sport and life. Diligence in training is attributed for achieving a 1st place overall finish in the Xterra Mid-West Trail Running Championships, placing in the top 25 at the US National Snowshoe Championships, and qualifying and finishing the prestigious Boston Marathon. I caught the early wave of stand up paddle boarding in the midwest and compete in various races, while providing paddle sport instruction as a certified American Canoe Association kayak and WPA standup paddle board instructor. I also direct endurance action and paddle sporting events and enjoy leading groups out on the water to share my love for nature and human powered water activities.
