Personal Trainer Overview
Training Philosophy
(Manifesting an individual's physical goals through physical movement and adaptation)
Results primarily uses a periodized functional training format.
Periodization-The process of breaking down results-oriented training into focused periods. For example to create body fat loss, one would focus workouts into periods of lean body mass gain, optimization of caloric burn, and increased cardiovascular effort (flexibility, functional range of motion, strength, speed, and stamina also play a role in overall fitness).
Functional Training-Training which relates to daily life as well as enhance athletic performance by training particular movements. This allows for maximum performance, maximum caloric burn, and maximum mental/kinetic awareness.
There are five basis of human movement: push (pressing), pull (row/curl), twist (rotate), elevation change (lowering or raising the body), and locomotion (moving the whole body in a direction). Each of these movements are trained utilizing progressive overload for an enhanced body.
Mental
(Enabling an individual's mind to conceive the idea that they are a beautiful, and powerful being through accountability, positive motivation, and conquering challenges daily.)
Results training provides mental toughness.
Results training enables relaxation under pressure.
Results training allows for a great stress relief.
Results educates in all areas of the comprehensive approach.
Philosophical
(The Results philosophy is in the name. The company is goal-oriented, focusing its effort towards the final result desired.)
The company will enable results through positive change.
Positive change begins with positive thoughts, which then turns into positive action, and positive action is fueled by positive energy and positive direction.
A Results trainer will answer the questions: what is being done today? How does it relate to what was done yesterday? How does it relate to what is being done tomorrow?
