Personal Trainer Overview

I have developed a method of working with the whole person to achieve results that last a lifetime. My background in cooking and nutrition provides my clients with healthy and delicious meals and recipes that not leave them feeling deprived. My clients that have followed my program closely have attained the best results quickly.

Training Philosophy

I believe that treating the whole person rather that spot training is the best way to get the results you want. I work with my clients to improve their overall quality of life. If you need to lose 10 pounds for an event or over 100 to improve health my knowledge of not only the human body but the brain as well will get you there successfully. Fitness is a lifelong journey, for with I have a map. I believe in the utilization of a individualized combination of strength training, cardio programs, yoga, pilates, nutrition and a positive outlook to melt the pounds and give you a body and a life beyond your wildest dreams.

Education

I am attending a local university to get a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. I have a background in Exercise Science and a degree from The Culinary Institute of America.

Bio

I grew up in Weston, CT, currently I live in Darien, CT with my two dogs. I love to cook and be outdoors especially near the water. I have always been an athlete, a swimmer up to college at which point I took up competitive running on the cross country team. I have played tennis and sailed since I was a child (I used to race sail boats competitively now I do it for fun) and love hiking. Although I have always been physically active, I too have had a tough time with weight issues. Through trial and error and a great deal of education I have found solutions that work. I am proof positive that small changes lead to huge results.
