Personal Trainer Overview
With over 12 years of experience as a personal trainer I am comfortable with just about any client. I have trained in corporate, commercial and private clubs. I have trained youth, adults, athletes, and men and women of all ages. No matter the goal of the client I focus on healthy, functional eating combined with properly designed exercise programs to maximize results.
Training Philosophy
All of my clients receive guidance on meal planning and customized workout plans and instruction based on their specific goals. Clients who want to lose weight will have a healthy balance of weight training, cardio, and interval training. We'll focus more on improving food choices rather than calorie restriction. Training techniques will change as needed based on client goals. I like to motivate my clients with a balance of humor, scientific fact, and fun. I'm not a drill sergeant but I do demand for results. Most clients would describe me as a personal trainer/comedian since my clients have fun and get a great workout. My motivation comes from the client. When they succeed, I succeed.
Education
I have a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Masters in Public Health. Training courses in boot camp, group fitness and TRX.
