Personal Trainer Overview

The scale is very unreliable in terms of progress tracking. I believe that everyone should build muscle and lose fat. It is never about weight loss. this is why I monitor clients' progress using a fat loss monitor.

Training Philosophy

Training and nutrition are both 100% of the fitness equation. I am also a firm believer that the best form of cardio is HIIT. The reason being this. When doing HIIT you can work your muscles and burn extreme amounts of calories in less time than with steady state cardio. The benefits are obvious. Less time per workout, and even more importantly this will ensure that you maintain your muscle and lose fat. Losing muscle and seeing the number on the scale go down is still a failure!

Education

I am an IFA certified personal trainer as well an undergrad at Touro college. My goal is to be DPT.

Bio

I used to be extremely obese myself, and I was completely out of shape. I was not able to perform a single push up. Today I am 120lbs less than I used to be and in very good shape. I think this struggle that I went through, help me relate to clients that face those same challenges.
