FITGirl Training, LLC helps women ages 38-70 accomplish individual fitness goals by providing fitness training education in the client's home, at work, or in a small class environment enabling an individualized service through one-on-one motivation and education to reduce personal injuries and promote a healthy lifestyle.

Personal Training is best for clients who want to lose weight, increase strength and flexibility without getting hurt or re-experiencing pain issues. Personal training is tailored to individual client preferences, needs, and abilities with respect to cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility exercises. It is through a fun, relaxed environment that we explore activities you enjoy and begin your journey toward experiencing a healthier, happier, and more FIT life!

Bio

I worked with women as a group fitness instructor for two years. I certified as a Personal Trainer and started my own company, FITGirl Training, LLC to assist women on a personal level realize their fitness goals. This education helped me gain a more in-depth understanding of the musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and kinetic systems. I have taken the initiative to improve my knowledge base and develop techniques as a trainer by attending various seminars including but not limited to: functional fitness assessments, nutrition, and strength training.

Focusing on women’s health and fitness and completing a series of classes on both Assessments and Women, Weights, and Results has helped me understand both the chemical and physiological differences of the female body and effectively apply weight training principles to help clients get the best results for their time investment.

I certified in Core Boot Camp training to provide a more affordable option for clients that are comfortable working in a social environment.

Due to my knowledge of the female body and experience working with women, I can help clients achieve their goals better than most male trainers. Combining my understanding of women’s hormones, strength training, and nutrition, I apply techniques to help women of all ages achieve a level of fitness, mobility, and full body strength consistent with their goals.

I specialize in understanding each client's needs and help meet her goals. I enjoy working with older adults to increase mobility after surgeries such as hip and shoulder replacement, and wrist, elbow, and knee injuries. Applying functional exercise to increase fitness and weight training principles, I help older clients live on their own.
