Personal Trainer Overview

I have almost 14 years of experience working with a variety of both healthy and diseased populations. I enjoy working with all types of clients, but my mosts recent experience is working with clients looking for transformation (usually for an upcoming wedding or other event), weight loss, and pre and post natal fitness. I work with clients live through FaceTime as well as through IronPlate Studio’s Online Personal Training and Nutrition site where I provide individually created and laid out workouts, accountability, tracking and nutrition coaching.

Training Philosophy

My goal is to provide you with the tools, guidance and support to become in tune with your body and its needs. I provide individualized workout plans for each client based on their personal goals, schedule, available workout space and equipment and lifestyle. I believe in order to have full success, no matter what your goals, its important to understand why you are doing workouts a certain way or why I suggest certain nutrition recommendations. The more knowledge you have, the more likely you are to not only succeed in your goals, but also carry them out long term. I also believe it is important to work with my client to find ways to make their new fitness and nutrition routines a part of their forever lifestyle.

I have a variety of past client experience, but currently tend to focus on weight loss, pre/post natal fitness, overall health and wellness. I always like to talk with a potential client before they sign up to make sure I can provide them with the help they need to reach their goals.

B.S. Exercise Science from SUNY at Buffalo

Bio

Caitlin Harrington, ACSM-CPT, PN-1 is an ACSM certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist and Personal Trainer as well as a Certified Nutritionist through Precision Nutrition. She currently is the Director of IronPlate Online, IronPlate's elite Online Coaching and Virtual Training program. She has over 10 years of experience working with clients of all ages ranging from the general population to those who are recovering and rehabilitating from disease, injury or other limiting factors. She received her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from the University at Buffalo.

Caitlin wants her clients to leave each session feeling a little bit stronger and more knowledgeable so they can utilize the tools at their disposal to achieve their goals.

She enjoys spending downtime with her husband and daughter, Summer, the outdoors, hiking, camping, traveling and relaxing anywhere by a lake.
