Bio
My name is Brittany, I am a recent graduate from Dickinson State University, achieving my degree in Exercise Science and Coaching. While in college, I was an elite competitor in cross country and track, earning All-American honors on the track in the 800m. My love for health and fitness begun with my love for running. As my love for running grew, I became more interested in the HOW and WHY of exercise.
I’m sure you’re wondering how a collegiate All-American could ever be ‘out of shape’. In 2013 in the midst of my college running career, I had a beautiful baby boy. There I was at square -20, or so it felt. Getting back into shape was the most difficult, challenging and rewarding thing I have ever done. Though extremely painful, it all paid off when I was able to qualify for a national track meet just 7 months after having my son.
I don’t tell you any of this to brag, being a mom/athlete is what drove me to become a personal trainer. Whether you are getting in shape for the first time in your life, trimming your fat or dropping baby weight, I can relate. I’ve gone through the process and my past experience has opened my eyes to a whole new world of fitness and nutrition.
