Training Philosophy

Brian Barkley is a certified personal trainer and the owner of Functional Conditioning, Inc. Brian helps people look better, and feel better by making a healthy eating and an individualized exercise program a part of their life. Brian's worked with hundreds of people in Colorado from Arvada, Westminster, Broomfield, Thornton, Denver, and many others surrounding areas. Brian's taken a group of seniors hiking up a 14,000 foot mountain, championed sports specific workouts, and, of course, worked with every-day people who just want to feel better! So, whether you want to lose weight or have a specific fitness goal in mind, he can help! He doesn't offer quick fixes, but a program that you can do for the rest of your life. You don't have to spend endless hours in the gym to get the results you want, nor do you have to eat nothing but vegetables. Remember, this is a lifestyle change.

Bio

Brian has been helping people lose weight, increase their strength and personal power. He knows weight issues first hand. He understands that losing weight is more than just “eat right and exercise”. His commitment to fitness started in his twenties, when he realized that nobody gets to be twenty-something forever. Brian hit the books, earning his degree in Sports and Fitness Technologies from Denver Technical College. Quickly, he worked his way up to Fitness Director at the Cherry Creek Athletic Club. In October 2001, Brian started Functional Conditioning giving access to quality fitness advice to everyone regardless of income.
