Personal Trainer Overview

I offer a free session, conduct fitness assessments, and guarantee results or your money back. I track all workouts, send you progress reports, and council on diet. I am a full time trainer and love doing what I do. I want you to get results and feel good.

Training Philosophy

I am a full time trainer and love doing what I do. I want you to get results and feel good. When you get results, I get more clients. I incorporate all training methods that get results the quickest and try to have fun at the same time. I do not follow fad programs. This includes weights, cardio, and stretching. My philosophy is simple. Whether you like to or not you need to exercise to stay healthy, fit, and live a long quality life. I strive to make it a regular part of your weekly routine.

Education

I have been a multi-sport athlete all my life having participated in soccer, baseball, basketball, football, gymnastics, cycling, martial arts, and dance. I studied Liberal Arts and Kinesiology at University of Illinois at Chicago. I am certified personal trainer with the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 2004. I have worked at Ballys, Equinoix, and now as an independent trainer. Most of my clients are average normal people, but I have trained clients with multiple sclerosis. I am willing to help anyone.

Bio

I was super active growing up, but after an arm injury in high school, I lost my motivation and gave up on pursuing athletics entirely. I adopted an academic lifestyle, smoked cigarettes, drank alcohol, and did no physical activity other than walking for a 4 years. One day I noticed I was starting to get too flabby and vowed to return to my "normal" fit self. I began by doing a few sets of pushup, situps,and running and haven't looked back since. At 33 I am much fitter and feel so much better than I did at 17. I am getting fitter everyday. Today I train in capoeira, (Brazilian martial art), take dance classes whenever possible, and lift weights to stay in shape.
