Personal Trainer Overview
WheelerFit is recently created February 2012, it is a Fitness Training and Nutrition Business ran by Amanda Wheeler.
There are things you should know about the belief and style of WheelerFit in which I’m going to casually note.
Training Philosophy
I am straight forward on what specifically needs to be done for results. I am passionate about what I do and about you as a person and want to do my best to help you get to Your best. I expect you to be 100%honest, 100% committed, have ZERO excuses, be willing to put in Hard work and expecting it’s not going to be easy. I believe to get through the journey with success there needs to be a structured plan that is individualized to you and adjustments will have to be made at least 1x/week for continued results. There needs to be acceptance that in order for me to get to know you and your body it takes days, sometimes weeks, to understand what works best for you and that is why the initial fitness assessment is so important. There needs to be an understanding that a new body is NOT made overnight, It will change with consistency and self-discipline and commitment to the program. You need to understand results take time and to give it patience. I believe that food should fuel us, water is essential, supplements assist, and the three combined should help heal and rid the body of problems and toxicity while naturally detoxifying on a daily basis. I understand this the number one battle and I want you to understand it can be overcome and that 75% results are based on what you put in your body. I believe if your mind isn’t set yet, then it’s not time to start. Once your mind is set 100% to change your body, lifestyle, health, then I think it’s a PERFECT day to start and why wait a day longer when you can start taking control of your life and start seeing results NOW!
Bio
My passion with fitness began with being in gymnastics in my childhood years and then again in high school. I loved the sport and also being FIT. I got really into it and did a lot of at home workout DVDs and little workout routines in my room and knew that in the future I wanted to do something with fitness. I would go on hikes, to parks, walk on curb like doing balance beam, handstands wherever and would get excited for weight training class and P.E., joined the gym with my friends(clueless on what to do but played around anyway), and loved being around people with similar interests.2006 I needed part time hours and coached gymnastics(pre-school, ages 6-18, school teams) and to this day still do a little bit of coaching. Once I graduated high school, I decided to go to National Personal Training Institute(NPTI) and got a diploma in Personal Training as well as a Certified Nutrition Consultant. Winter of 2008 I have been training people from the elderly, kids, sports conditioning, weight loss, functional training, gaining muscle, flexibility, nutrition consulting, specific meal plans, doing boot camps- group exercise, specific goals like passing tests to join army, SWAT team, and lots more. 2011 I joined Tanji Johnson’s Save Fitness Team because I wanted my hard work to be noticed and take it to the next level with competing in Figure and Fitness Competitions. Still am Competing and love seeing how far one can go. Overall I am so thankful to have this opportunity and with the years of experience I became a Independent Contractor February 2012, doing my own business called WheelerFit! I truly enjoy every aspect of fitness and am passionate about inspiring and making a difference in other people’s life to becoming fit and healthy.
