Personal Trainer Overview
I stick to the basics, I keep it simple and I personalize the workouts. The thing I hate the most about most trainers is the fact that they do NOT watch their clients form or pay attention, period, and they never personalize the routine. It's called personal training for a reason!
Training Philosophy
My philosophy of training is: Keep it simple.
There are so many fad diets and crazy training methods out nowadays that it makes fitness seem overhwelming and pointless. I like to cut through the crap and explain what we will be doing, why we will be doing it and how it benefits you.
Education
Even though I am young, I hold a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology (human movement studies), and am currently in school to get my master's in Athletic Training and Sports Therapy.
I have worked for such big name gyms as, LA Fitness, 24 Hour Fitness and Gold's Gym.
I am NFPT, ACE and NASM certified.
I specialize in weight loss but my experience extends into cardiac rehab, knee, shoulder and lower back rehab, joint regeneration for arthritis and osteoporosis, MS and Parkinsons'.
I am also fluent in crossfit training, kettlebell and TRX suspension training, bootcamp training, and group fitness.
Bio
I love to watch hockey (Let's go Boston Bruins!) although I am an Arizona native. I am in school to go into Sports Therapy one day. My dad grew up in the time of Blake Wheeler, Arnold, and Lou Ferrigno so he is the spark that started my career in fitness. He has helped me train for NPC bodybuilding shows where I have competed in the bikini division, I also have a personal trainer of my own for competition. In my opinion, you can never stop learning and I am constantly looking for new sources and strategies to improve myself so that I may help others.
